An earthling with a B.S. in the realm of aerospace and electrical engineering, certified in Six Sigma Green Belt with an emphasis in Process Analysis; With ten years of experience in the field of Aeronautical Engineering, Mayank joined the Watershed Progressive team in 2020 to combine his engineering talents with his passion for sustainability and innovation in the field of landscape and water conservation design. Since joining the Watershed Progressive team, Mayank has been involved with the design + analysis on a plethora of water reclamation projects (rainwater, greywater and storm water management) by taking them from a concept level to detailed permit/construction drawings. Proficient at performing site analysis, understanding client needs and managing project schedules to meet deliverables, Mayank possesses a range of technical, leadership and personal growth skills that incorporate logic and root cause analysis to solve and manage various field + design challenges and projects. California River Friendly and Bay Friendly qualified along with certifications in green gardening, Mayank enjoys working in a diverse environment and is capable of establishing, maintaining and developing effective working relations with prospective clients, service personnel and operation teams.
When Mayank is away from technical design and document development, he finds himself immersed in the realm of mycelium (researching, growing, propagation) + food resilience strategies within communities + music. Understanding the paradigm shift taking place, Mayank thrives on growing food and spreading knowledge on how we can all do our part in creating sustainable food forests and homesteads (urban + rural).
