ADAM Zamastil: Headwaters Initiative Program Director
Diversity Workforce Program Director, Training and Community Coordinator, Water Resource Field Specialist II
Adam joined Watershed Progressive in April of 2021 with the objective to create and launch the Headwaters Initiative Program, a career development and mentoring experience intended to serve young adults from a diverse background of life experiences to create more awareness and opportunities for meaningful careers for individuals who may not otherwise have found access to companies like WP.
Adam spent the previous 20 years with the California Conservation Corps and the National Park Service physically performing and managing conservation project work combined with youth mentorship and development. Adam hopes that the efforts of the Headwaters Initiative Program will bare fruit in creating career opportunities while continuing to promote advocacy for mentorship and lifelong connections with the natural world for young adults.
